The Metal Shark 29 Fearless is a durable welded-aluminum high performance craft featuring a twin-stepped SVVT  hull design by renowned naval architect Michael Peters. Agile and maneuverable, yet tough enough to withstand the harshest environments imaginable, Metal Shark’s Fearless models have been extensively proven in service with law enforcement agencies from coast to coast, and militaries worldwide. The 29 Fearless is offered in center console and walkaround cabin variants, as shown below.

The 29 Fearless boasts an advanced SVVT (stepped ventilated vee tunnel) running surface designed by renowned naval architect Michael Peters. Available with a wide range of propulsion options, the Fearless hull is quick to plane and delivers nimble handling and a smooth dry ride, with its stout aluminum hull crushing unruly seas that send other boats back to the dock.

In Center Console configuration, the 29 Fearless features a roomy layout, with ample freeboard and a flat non-skid floor running from bow to stern. Available closed-cell foam coaming pads and integrated toe rails provide comfort and safety for officers leaning out of the vessel while working alongside another boat. Integrated port and starboard dive reliefs accommodate the vessel’s three-step removable dive ladder to facilitate boarding and recovery operations. The 29 Fearless utilizes a slightly console-forward design to create a roomy aft cockpit offering ample space for  a second row of seating while still easily accommodating dive gear or other equipment. The vessel features an oversized integrated T-top with drip rails and a full-height three-panel tempered glass windshield for weather protection and reduced fatigue. A full curtain enclosure may be added. The helm and overhead electronics pod have been ergonomically optimized, with vessel controls, switches, and electronics placed for easy, intuitive operation. A large weather-tight in-dash storage compartment with 12-volt USB power supply allows for the storage and operation of laptops and printers. The entire helm area features glare-resistant matte finish blackout coating to enhance helm visibility in low-light conditions.Grab handles integrated into the top facilitate crew movement along the vessel’s wide non-skid gunnels. 

The 29 Fearless may be configured in a Walkaround Cabin layout enabling comfortable and safe all-weather operation. Wide port and starboard nonskid walkways and a flat cockpit floor running from bow to stern afford easy access to crews working the boat. The 29 Fearless pilothouse has been designed for optimum visibility and crew comfort. A reversed-raked windshield with prominent brow shade reduces heat load and glare. An overhead skylight array provides an unobstructed upward view while operating alongside ships or elevated structures, or during helicopter hoisting operations. Large, quickly-sliding side windows and the extra-wide cabin door facilitate communication to crew members in the cockpit and allow quick and easy ingress/egress while wearing full gear. The result is mission-enhancing visibility and access throughout the complete range of patrol and SAR scenarios.The 29 Fearless’s open bow is quickly accessed via a large sliding forward cabin door. Integrated port and starboard dive reliefs accommodate the vessel’s three-step removable dive ladder to facilitate boarding and recovery operations.
